Description: Rock composed of chromian phyllosilicate (“fuchsite”, emerald green), carbonates (white to brown) and quartz. Listwänites are the result of alteration of ultramafic rocks due to interaction with CO2-rich hydrothermal fluids and are typically associated with mesothermal orogenic gold veins.
